THE BLOWING TREES are what we call the difference makers. There is nothing usual about this band. If you took the old Bob Dylan and mixed in some Jimi Hendrix you will have an idea of the originality of this band.

The band was signed within a few years of forming but the label did not release their debut Cd. They came to TEG to "start again" as they say in the business. "We really had to step up with The Trees as they needed to have an environment that was stress free after waiting so long for their Cd to come out and it never did. We were all very careful and insightful as to allowing them the creative space that a band like this needs." TEG

Once you hear songs like "THE DAY THE WORLD LEFT ME" you will be convinced as we were about moving ahead with the band. Every song on this Cd is strong and loaded with depth and creativity. The mix of acoustic guitar, moving bass lines, and unique guitar tones mixed with Chris Madden's vocals is very explosive yet moving and suddle.
