TEG artist development has just signed the band BLOWING TREES to Glassnote Records/WARNER. Chris Lieck has been assisting in the development of this band for years and recently signed them to a full length deal along with Ashlee Rose to the TEG label. The band was preparing a "full on" shopping of their debut disc on TEG, when TEG struck a deal with GLASSNOTE.
Daniel Glass is a legendary record label executive who is responsible for artists such as Billy Idol, Wilson Phillips, Blur, Sinead Oconnor, Badfinger, The Pretenders, Better Than Ezra. After years of running major companies such as EMI and others Daniel has formed GLASSNOTE RECORDS. This is a major accomplishment for the band. Record deals are sparse and the relationship between the band, Chris Lieck, Glassnote and their wonderful staff is one that makes multi-platinum bands.
The band and CEO of TEG Chris Lieck is thrilled to have signed the band to GLASSNOTE. "It was a no brainer, Daniel said the one thing that matters and that is his belief in their music and that sentiment is shared by me and my staff. We were able to use that to quickly insure the band the very best team possible and teams are what make bands big. In other APRIL NEWS. !! Ashlee has charted on the RootsMusicReport.com at number 10 in front of Los Lonely Boys and other major acts. TEG wants to thank all the Texas stations that are playing Iron Roses and the single "SAVE MY SOUL."
One station has been spinning the song over 80 times a week. Ashlee is the Female Vocals in Modern Rock" for the 4th straight week this week for "How The Seasons Change". The song also won "Best Melody in Modern Rock" for the second time. Ashlee is being played on RadioNC.com which is an internet based radio station broadcasted out of North Carolina.
